Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley
Pick up from Marrakech by your private driver/guide for a rewarding 3 days Marrakech to Merzouga desert starting by a nice drive across the spectacular Atlas Mountains. Stop for taking pictures of the breathtaking views of the traditional Berber houses alongside the everflowing river.
After crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m), you will explore the dramatic Ait Benhaddou Village with its striking Kasbahs (fortresses), which are shrouded in mystery (no worries, we unveil it for you). Continue on the track to the Dades Valley passing by the palm oasis of Skoura & the lush Valley of the Roses.
Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, our 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will lead us to the impressive Todra Gorges (canyons) where you may want to stretch your legs before continuing on the track further south to the Merzouga desert through Erfoud.
Arrive in the desert and go on a camel ride experience while enjoying the stunning views of the sunset. Spend the night in a luxury desert under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Nkob - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
In the morning, you will wake up early to attend the majestic view of the sunrise over the sand dunes. After breakfast, you will travel back to Marrakech, stopping to take pictures and chill out along the way. You will then be dropped off at your hotel or a location of your choice in Marrakech marking the end of our 3 days desert trip from Marrakech to Merzouga.
