Day 1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ait Benhaddou - Zagora
Depart from Marrakech in the morning for the 2 days desert tour from Marrakech to Zagora driving across the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m). You will head towards the Ait Benhaddou Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its traditional clay buildings and beautiful landscapes.
After lunch in the village, you will continuing to the stunning Draa Valley where you can admire the views of the valley’s sprawling palm groves and marvel at the beauty of the surrounding mountains.
Arrive at the starting point of the camel trek in the late afternoon, where you will receive instructions and a safety briefing. Mount your camel and begin your journey through the desert while enjoying the peace and quiet of the desert as you make your way to the overnight desert camp.
Arrive at the camp, where you will be welcomed with a refreshing drink and traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars.
Day 2: Zagora - Agdz - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Wake up early to watch the stunning view of the sunrise before enjoying a delicious breakfast before setting out on a camel ride to meet your driver.
Head back to Marrakech while explore the beauty of the desert and enjoy breathtaking views as you continue your journey. Pass by the city of Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) where you may want to visit the Atlas Film Studios before continuing on the track to Marrakech crossing the Atlas Mountains.
