Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forests - Ziz Valley - Merzouga
Start the 3 days Fes to Marrakech desert tour with a pickup from your hotel/Riad in Fes before including a short break in the picturesque town of Ifrane, then explore the Cedar Forest of the Middle Atlas that hosts a colony of “Barbary Macaques”.
After lunch, you will travel through the Ziz Valley, admiring its palm groves and oasis before reaching the desert where you will enjoy a scenic camel ride to the luxury desert camp.
Savor a delicious dinner under the stars and spend the night in the desert camp.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley
Wake up to a beautiful sunrise in the desert and after breakfast, you will drive to the Todra Gorge, a stunning canyon with towering rock formations through the city of Erfoud.
After lunch, you will continue to the Dades Valley and check into a local hotel/Riad where you can relax and enjoy the views of the valley before dinner.
Day 3: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech
Depart from the Dades Valley after breakfast to Marrakech stopping at the town of Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara” and the backdrop for shooting numerous films including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Kingdom of Heaven, and many others.
You will visit the historic site of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site with its striking Kasbahs (fortresses). Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon marking the end of our popular 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech.
